Fundraiser Launched

The Dartmoor Preservation Society today launched the official fundraiser to support the Dartmoor National Park Authority’s appeal against a ban on backpack camping.

To fight for Dartmoor to be wild and free for everyone, for a rights-based not a permission-based system on Dartmoor, we’ll need to raise a minimum of £200,000. Please support the fundraiser: donate if you can and spread the word far and wide.

The Dartmoor Preservation Association is focusing public funds for an appeal and to support projects that enable access to Dartmoor, especially for underprivileged groups who would normally struggle to get on the moor.
